The successful supplier will be required to provide a comprehensive cleaning service, including daily term time and non-term time periodic cleaning, for the following 3 schools within the Westcountry Schools Trust: • Ivybridge Community College: https://www.ivybridge.devon.sch.uk/ • Yealmpton Primary School: https://www.yealmpton-primary.devon.sch.uk/ • Plymstock School: https://plymstockschool.org.uk/ This tender process is split into two lots, with: Lot 1 encompassing Ivybridge Community College and Yealmpton Primary School; Lot 2 being Plymstock School. Each lot will be determined by its own evaluation matrix and therefore may be awarded separately. Suppliers will have the option to submit bids for one or both lots. The Trust is seeking a suitably experienced contractor who has current experience of working within the school or HE/FE college market place, ideally with a strong operational base within the South West of England, thus allowing for both adequate contract support and operational flexibility that is to be delivered to support the contract as and when needed moving forwards into this contract term. The service at Ivybridge Community School and Yealmpton Primary School is currently outsourced and the service at Plymstock School is currently operated inhouse. TUPE is expected to apply and it is anticipated that a number of employees are members of the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) and therefore the successful contractor will be expected to gain Admitted Body Status (ABS) in order to continue contributing to the scheme.
