Tender description

ODS is now seeking tenders for the disposal and treatment of its dry mixed recycling with an estimated value of GBP 1.2 million per annum. The scope of the services includes the receipt, handling, storage, transport, recycling, marketing, and disposal of residues (including by way of landfill or thermal treatment where no alternative exists) of all dry recyclates in accordance with the terms of the contract. The concept for a new purchase is to have the following lots incorporated into a bid. Tenderers will ultimately be allowed to bid for one or more lots as outlined below: • Lot 1 – Provision of Transfer Station facility, receipt of Dry Recyclate from ODS collection vehicles, storage and loading of Dry Recyclate onto vehicles provided by the Lot 2 supplier. • Lot 2 – Collection of Dry Recyclate from the transfer station (or if proximate, receipt of the Dry Recyclate from ODS collection vehicles) and treatment of Dry Recyclate. This contract will be available for Oxfordshire County Council, South Oxfordshire District Council, Vale of White Horse District Council, West Oxfordshire District Council and Cherwell District Council to use under the agreed terms and conditions of contract. • Lot 1 – Provision of Transfer Station facility, receipt of Dry Recyclate from ODS collection vehicles, storage and loading of Dry Recyclate onto vehicles provided by the Lot 2 supplier. • Lot 2 – Collection of Dry Recyclate from the transfer station (or if proximate, receipt of the dry recyclate from ODS collection vehicles) and treatment of dry recyclate.
