Provision of a Best Interest Assessor Service

Tender description

Providers will provide Best Interest Assessments, using all reasonable skill and care as could be expected of a reasonable service provider carrying out similar services. Services shall be provided to the Wrexham County Borough Council’s DoLS Service in a prompt, efficient, professional and ethical manner, in accordance with the statutory timescales and in compliance with: • The Mental Capacity Act 2005 • Mental Capacity Act 2005 Code of Practice (2007) • All relevant regulations issued under the Mental Capacity Act 2005 • Mental Capacity Act Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (MCA DoLS) • Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards Code of Practice (2008) • Data Protection/Confidentiality • Welsh Assembly Government Guidance for Supervisory Bodies (2009) • Welsh Assembly Government Guidance for Managing Authorities (2009) And • All relevant law
