Tender description

This work is to install new optical fibres at Boulby mine to serve the current STFC underground lab facility and to prepare for a future facility AIT-NEO. The work involves designing brackets to support the optical fibres in the main number 2 shaft at Boulby mine, then installing these brackets and then the optical fibres – all working alongside existing mining operations and adhering to local health and safety systems. This work is to install new optical fibres at Boulby mine (Boulby Mine, Loftus,Saltburn-by-the-Sea, Cleveland, North Yorkshire, TS13 4UZ) to serve the current STFC underground lab facility and to prepare for a future facility AIT-NEO.
