Tender description
NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership – Procurement Services (NWSSP) is preparing to go out to competitive tender for the renewal of its All Wales Insulin Pumps and Consumables Framework Agreement, to include but not be limited to: Insulin Pumps, associated pump consumables, CGM and Technology (data visibility and management platforms relating to Insulin Pumps and CGM). NHS Wales are looking to conduct pre-tender engagement with interested Suppliers to explore the market and associated value opportunities that will assist in informing the structure of the new all Wales Tender. Interested parties are asked to contact Melanie Foote-Jones via email (melanie.foote-jones@wales.nhs.uk). Please include your Company name, a brief overview of your Organisation’s activity in relation to this Tender opportunity, your telephone number and contact email address. Interested suppliers are asked to ensure their interest is registered no later than 13 November 2020. It is our intention to conduct these discussions virtually via MS Teams during November 2020. Provision of I.T. specific to insulin pump therapy, providing data visibility and data management and reporting platforms relating to insulin pump, PDM and CGM systems. Provision of portable, electronic insulin pumps suitable for continuous subcutaneous insulin infusion. To include a range of pump types (with and without tubing) and associated consumables. Standalone pumps (without integrated CGM). Provision of portable, electronic insulin pumps suitable for continuous subcutaneous insulin infusion. Portable, electronic insulin pumps with integral CGM (Continuous Glucose Monitoring) functionality and associated consumables. Provision of electronic, wirelessly controlled portable Personal Diabetes Management (PDM) systems for the management of insulin delivery. Provision of associated consumables. Provision of electronic, portable continuous glucose monitoring devices which send data via a wireless signal to the display monitor of an insulin pump/PDM (personal diabetes management system)/Smart device with information on CGM from a sensor which is inserted in to the body. Provision of associated CGM consumables.
