Housing Planned Maintenance SPA Call Off

Perth and Kinross Council has a requirement for ongoing Planned Maintenance of its Housing stock of c7600. The specific scopes have been identified through surveys carried out by in-house property inspectors. The standard scopes are predominantly painting however multi trades are required including building, plumbing, fencing and general joinery repairs. Maintenance and painter works are required to be carried out to approximately one-eighth of the housing stock each year – approximately 950 properties per year. Perth & Kinross Council own approximately 7700 homes for rent including a high percentage of flats with clusters of mixed-tenure housing blocks. The housing stock is divided into 4 areas namely City, North, South and Letham/Tulloch combined. The maintenance and painter works are carried out to approximately one-eighth of the housing stock each year. The works comprise: - Common repairs - this relates to work needed to repair communal doors, windows, internal close areas. - Minor structural repairs or work to external walls, roofs, doors, fascia, soffits and rainwater goods, fencing and internal communal closes. - Repairs within the curtilage of the buildings including boundary fencing etc.
