Tender description

Northamptonshire County Council (Children First Northamptonshire) is commissioning the provision of personal care and support services for disabled children and young people in Northamptonshire. Northamptonshire County Council (NCC) (The ‘Authority’) wishes to invite tenders for the provision of personal care and support services for children and young people with disabilities. The successful potential providers will be responsible for providing this service and liaising closely with the contract manager identified by the Authority. Personal care and support provides support to families to help children and young people with complex health or behavioural needs in the comfort of their own homes. It should be person centred, personal care, enabling care and/or other services that are necessary to maintain a child or young person’s quality of life, enabling them to remain living with their family and achieve their specified outcomes. The service is not about dependency, but about helping people to do things for themselves as far as they are able. The Northamptonshire Personal Care and Support Services for Children and Young People with Disabilities Framework was originally set up in May 2020 for 4 years. The light touch regime applies to the services under the Northamptonshire Personal Care and Support Services for Children and Young People with Disabilities framework as per Public Contracts Regulations 2015, Northamptonshire County Council (Children First Northamptonshire), is therefore reopening the Northamptonshire Personal Care and Support Services for Children and Young People with Disabilities framework in order to add new providers. Lot 1: Kettering and Corby District Zone (urban). Lot 2: Wellingborough, Rushden (Urban) and East Northants District (Rural) zone. Lot 3: Daventry and South Northants District Zone (Rural). Lot 4: Northampton District Zone (Urban).
