The Edinburgh health and social care partnership have a requirement for Older Adults Homebased Support. In the City of Edinburgh, we deliver up to 50,000 hours per week of homebased care under current contractual arrangements for ‘care at home’ services. The purpose of this PIN is to engage with the market to re-design a service which will meet growing demand in a sustainable, outcome focused and viable way. The purpose of this PIN is to engage with the market and gain insight into the likely level of interest from providers in the Edinburgh Health and social care partnerships requirement for older adults homebased support. This is not a call for competition; it is for initial engagement purposes only, with an invite to a provider market event where further information will be provided. To ensure your organisations participation in this process, you will be required to note interest against this PIN. Please read the attached outline of the service and the attached power point presentation named ‘External Older Adults Homebased Support Redesign Summary’, which provides insight into the requirement and the work completed to date.
