Tender description

The children’s mental health commissioning leads across the West Yorkshire and Harrogate Health and Care Partnership (WYHHCP) are inviting interested providers to a Microsoft Teams virtual market engagement event in relation to a proposed future procurement exercise to pilot an overnight crisis line/support service for children, young people and their carers/parents. The purpose of the overnight crisis line/support service for children and young people, and their carers/parents, is to provide a night-time (hours to be confirmed) open access telephone, text and online chat service, 7 days per week. The service will provide direct access to support, advice and triage. The service will provide brief assessment and stabilisation, practical and emotional support and be well connected with the wider support system and relevant local infrastructure in the area the individual contacting the service is living. The WYHHCP is keen to see provider collaboration through a lead provider model to provide an integrated and outcome based service across the five places in West Yorkshire (Calderdale, Kirklees, Wakefield, Leeds and Bradford). The WYHHCP wish to invite interested parties to attend a virtual engagement event on Tuesday 24 November 2020 1.30-3 p.m., to help further inform and shape the specification of the service. Following the engagement event, the children and young people’s commissioner representatives within the WYHHCP will consider the feedback to inform the service specification development and next steps in procuring an overnight crisis line/support service for children and young people living within the geography detailed above. If you would like to attend the engagement event, please register you interest by sending an email to leedsccg.procurement@nhs.net Once registered, you will be sent a registration form to complete for the attendees from your organisation. Any queries relating to this engagement event should be sent to leedsccg.procurement@nhs.net Please note that this notice is solely for the market engagement. An expression of interest in this engagement exercise will not automatically entitle involvement in any future procurement exercise. The subsequent procurement will be advertised separately and all organisations wanting to participate will need to respond to the Invitation to Tender (ITT) when published.
