Fostering Form F Assessors on behalf of Peterborough City Council

Peterborough City Council (PCC) is currently undertaking a comprehensive recruitment campaign for foster carers to support our Children and Young People in Care. PCC's Permanency Service requires an organisation to provide and manage, Qualified Social Workers who are skilled, experienced and competent in completing Form F Assessments, with a view to carers (in line with assessment conclusions) being recommended by Fostering Panel for approval as Local Authority Foster Carers by the Permanency Service Agency Decision Maker (ADM). The Form F assessment consists of two stages, both stages must be completed in advance of a carer progressing to Panel. Currently PCC have six (6) prospective foster carer households awaiting assessment, and completion of the Form F process, and it is anticipated that up to a further 9 assessments may be required in the coming months. Fostering Panel dates are currently scheduled from December 2020 - March 2021 in preparation for these assessments to be presented to panel.
