Tender description

Crown Commercial Service (CCS) as the authority intends to put in place an agreement for the provision of audit and assurance services to be utilised by Central Government Departments and all other UK Public Sector Bodies, including Local Authorities, Health, Police, Fire and Rescue, Education and Devolved Administrations. It is intended that this commercial agreement will be the recommended vehicle for all audit and assurance services required by UK Central Government Departments. Indicative lots will be: 1) Internal Audit and Assurance 2) External Audit 3) Counter-Fraud and Investigation 4) Other Independent Assurance. This PIN is an updated version of the previous PIN. Provision of services relating to all aspects of internal audit to provide independent and objective assurance on the effectiveness of governance, risk management and controls in line with public sector internal audit standards and other relevant standards. Provision of services relating to all aspects of external audits including inspecting documents, re-performing calculations and reviewing and reporting on controls and systems. Statutory audits requested by grant providers are included. Provision of services relating to proactive counter-fraud work and reactive investigations including forensics. Provision of services relating to assurance over aspects of organisational operational and programme performance, benefitting from objective examination and assessment.
