Supply of Bicycles and Supply & Install Secure Bicycle Storage/Docking

Tender description

Carlow County Council wish to partner with local hospitality businesses to provide a bicycle share scheme for patrons. The rationale of the scheme is to provide enhanced facilities for visitors of local hospitality businesses to explore local attractions or to access local facilities without the need to uses a car. Under the agreement with local hospitality bicycles and secure storage will be provided by Carlow County Council and maintenance will provided by the selected locations for the provision of the bicycles. Depending on the proposed bicycle numbers that can be provided for the available budget, one or more locations may be considered. The minimum number of bicycles at any 1 location shall be 5 units.
