Tender description

St Saviour's and Stebon Primary Schools in Poplar, London, are jointly tendering their cleaning services with an April 2021 start; both schools reserve the right to appoint their own contractor. Due to timescale pressures this is an accelerated restricted procedure. LGPS is in both schools. St Saviour's and Stebon Primary Schools have their cleaning services provided by the contract services division of Tower Hamlets. The service is stopping on 31 March 2021 and the schools are now tendering their catering services jointly. TUPE will apply and there are LGPS pensions in both schools. St Saviour's School has 239 pupils and 33 staff; an area of 1 344 m2. It is a ground floor building. Day clean currrently, under review. Stebon School has 644 pupils and 55 staff; an area of 3 099 m2. It is on a complex of ground and first floor buildings. Day clean currently, under review.
