Nottingham City Council Children's Home Care Model - Soft Market Testing

Nottingham City Council are re-designing their service model for high quality home care for children and young people with a permanent and substantial disability, aged up to 18 years old. Nottingham City Council is seeking feedback on this model from providers, to understand whether providers deem this model to be viable, and the interest from providers in delivering this service. Please review the attached service model. Please consider the following – • Would this be a viable model of service for you to deliver? • Would you have the capacity to deliver this service? • Does the form of the contract (i.e. block payment plus hourly rate for additional activity) appear viable? • Does the pricing appear reasonable? Is the balance between the block payment and the hourly rates for activities reasonable? • Does the enablement model of working with families to reduce reliance on services seem like something you would want to deliver? • Is there anything else they would like to comment on or question about the service?
