Why the Work is Being Done The design, build and delivery of a dedicated national website for Foster Wales. Multiple domains have been purchased to enable this, and the suggested preference is fosterwales.org.uk Problem to Be Solved The design, build and delivery of a template for a LA website, that can then be populated with new content for each of the 22 Local Authorities The template must enable each LA to have a dedicated fostering website that is consistent with the national site and the other 21 LA fostering sites across Wales. Much of the content will be common to all, with some (c 25%) specific to that LA. This requires development of a design approach to a website template that: • is in keeping with the national website; • brings to life the Foster Wales brand strategy and visual identity; and • provides a consistent user journey and experience for anyone moving between the national and local websites. This also includes all technical design, build, content creation and content population for the 22 local variations of the local website template. The website must be in both English and Welsh, either dual language or via a language selection button, please refer to Appendix A.
