Tender description

continuing programme to refurbish and improve external elements of the existing housing stock The key driver for this project is our requirement to meet The Scottish Housing Quality Standard (SHQS) which aims to improve the quality of social housing in Scotland. It will help to improve safety, improve the local environment and in some cases help to reduce energy consumption. One of the main objectives of the project will be to reduce the demands on the cyclical Planned Maintenance programme by replacing external elements such as fascias, soffits and rainwater goods with maintenance free materials such as upvc which do not require painting / redecoration which will reduce Planned Maintenance Costs in future years.
