Tender description
Newcastle City Council led a competitive commissioning and procurement process on behalf of the North East Procurement Organisation (NEPO) and its member authorities to put in place a Flexible Procurement Agreement (FPA) (2018/S 127-289711) for services: A. Children's advocacy; B. Complaints and representations (Independent investigating officers (IIO), Independent persons (IP), Panel chairs for stage three statutory children’s social care complaints, panellists for stage three statutory children’s social care complaints, and independent persons for secure accommodation reviews.) The FPA allows new providers to tender to come on to this FPA at certain times during the life of the Contract. This is the third opening of the flexible procurement agreement and providers are invited to bid for lots 2 -6 in August 2020 under reference number DN490490. Newcastle, as Lead Authority, gives notice that they reserve the right to hold opening four in early 2021. Providers should go to www.nepo.org The participating local authorities are seeking to appoint multiple individuals from organisations and sole traders to deliver services for the provision of independent investigating officer services for complaints relating to children’s social care services on a non-exclusive basis. Services could be anywhere in the UK but are anticipated to be mainly within the North East of England. Multiple providers will be appointed to the flexible procurement agreement to deliver services under this lot. The opportunity can be accessed via the NEPO eTender system.
