Tender description
The project is for the provision and the delivery of multiple social housing units in the areas of Westbank, Ardmore and Eglinton, L'Derry, as defined in the MOI by means of design and build. Participants must provide the land, design, construction and ensure completion of the scheme for Apex in accordance with the DfCHousing Association Guide; client's requirements and statutory body requirements. Apex is inviting developers, who can demonstrate that they either: (i) own the site and can provide clear non-encumbered title to Apex; or (ii) have an exclusive arrangement with the landowner enabling the transfer of the site to Apex, with clear non-encumbered title, to submit proposals for the provision of social housing on the site. The project is for the provision of the delivery of multiple social housing units in areas of acute housing need within the area of Westbank Derry as delineated in the Annexes to this MOI, by means of Land, Design and Build. Developers must provide the land, design, and construction and ensure completion of the scheme for Apex in accordance with the DfC Housing Association Guide; Client's Requirements and statutory body requirements. Apex is inviting Developers, who can demonstrate that they either (i) own the site and can provide clear non-encumbered title to Apex; or (ii) have an exclusive arrangement with the Site Owner enabling the transfer of the site to Apex with clear non-encumbered title, to submit proposals for the provision of social housing on the site. Apex anticipates that the minimum and maximum size of development which it will consider as part of the evaluation is as follows: Lot 1 – Westbank 5 units minimum to 100 units maximum However, it reserves, at its sole discretion, the right to contract with a developer in respect of a site with fewer units. Apex is inviting developers, who can demonstrate that they either/ (i) own the site and can provide clear non-encumbered title to Apex; or (ii) have an exclusive arrangement with the site owner enabling the transfer of the site to Apex with clear non–encumbered title, to submit proposals for the provision of social housing on the site. Apex anticipates that the minimum and maximum size of development which it will consider as part of the evaluation is as follows: Lot 3 – Eglinton 5 units minimum to 10units maximum However, it reserves, at its sole discretion, the right to contract with a developer in respect of a site with fewer units.
