Children’s Residential Home in Croydon - Soft Market Testing

<p>Croydon Council are looking to form a dynamic partnership with a Children&rsquo;s residential care provider to establish a systemic residential children&rsquo;s home within the borough of Croydon. For some of our Children looked after, their behavior can be complex and challenging at times and we know they would benefit hugely from a different approach; one which sees them being supported by a highly skilled multi-disciplinary team, offering a whole system approach to holistically support their needs. Croydon are looking for an innovative residential care provider to join us in this service model. Thse soft market engagement document attached sets out the vision for the service and how the residential setting will interact and be supported by the Council&rsquo;s multi-disciplinary team. It explains the services we are looking to commission from the market in order to fulfill this vision for Croydon&rsquo;s Children Looked After population. This document serves as an early indication of our intention in relation to the potential commissioning of this service and we would like to invite interested providers to complete Annex 1 of this document &ndash; the soft market testing document. We anticipate that the soft market testing information from interested providers will give us an informed insight into the market&rsquo;s view, capacity to deliver a Children&rsquo;s Home within the borough and the level of interest from the market in doing so. All of which will inform our future commissioning intentions. Important note: This is not a formal tender opportunity and there is no guarantee of any tender opportunity arising following this period of soft market testing. Any subsequent tenders will be advertised accordingly via The London Tenders Portal. Process Interested providers are invited to respond to the soft market testing information in annex 1. The Council is using the London Tenders Portal electronic tendering system to administer this market test. The completed expressions of interest questionnaire should be uploaded no later than Friday 13th November 2020 and should be returned to the Council using the London Tenders Portal electronic tendering system only. The London Tenders Portal The Council is using the London Tenders portal to conduct this exercise, which can be accessed using this link https://www.londontenders.org/ Providers should express and interest in this opportunity which will then provide access to the project dashboard (DN505929) Children&rsquo;s Residential Home in Croydon &ndash; Soft Market Testing. Providers will then be able to upload their soft market testing response via the messaging facility located on the project dashboard. The use of this system allows a full audit trail of communication with providers to ensure fair treatment as well as to maintain full confidentiality for the market testing questionnaire received.
