CA276 2021 Smart Asset Monitoring System

Tender description

NIE Networks has a requirement for the Supply and Delivery of a Smart Asset Monitoring System . The Smart Asset Monitoring (SAM) will implement an enhanced thermal monitoring system on the 33kV distribution network through the use of Real Time Thermal Rating (RTTR) of 33kV overhead lines. The SAM project aims to determine the thermal capacity of network assets during different weather conditions, facilitating increased loading of assets without the need for high cost network reinforcement. The submission shall include the costs of NIE Networks flights and accommodation should factory visits be required. All shipping costs are to be included to a site anywhere within Northern Ireland. The cost must be DPP(Delivery Duty Paid) inclusive of VAT. Please refer to the Specification documents issued as part of the tender package for a more detailed description of the requirement. The framework agreement(s) will be established for a period of two years and will commence in April 2021.
