<p>Bury Architectural Services are seeking competitive tenders from competent and experienced contractors to deliver the above scheme.</p> <p>Phase 1:<br />Site set up, enabling works, new build, retaining walls, internal alterations.</p> <p><br />Phase 2:<br />Demolition, landscaping, planting external works</p> <p><br />Location: Parkview Road, Prestwich, M25 1FA</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Please note that a contractor questionnaire must be completed and returned with the<br />tenders. For contractors to be appointed they must first meet the following minimum<br />criteria:<br />&middot; Proximity of contractor base to the works to allow 1 hour emergency response<br />time<br />&middot; Acceptable health &amp; safety accreditation i.e. recognised by SSIP<br />&middot; The company holds the necessary NICEIC registration<br />&middot; Appropriate numbers of directly employed staff holding the necessary certification<br />/ qualifications<br />&middot; The average annual turnover from the past 2 years exceeds &pound;2m<br />&middot; The contractors have experience of working in the public sector or bodies of a<br />similar nature.<br />&middot; The contractors have successfully completed contracts in excess of &pound;1,000,000<br />&middot; Satisfactory references can be provided from public sector clients and / or bodies<br />of a similar nature (please note that where contractors have worked directly for<br />Bury Council in the last 2 years, references must be sought from Bury Council<br />client representatives.<br />&middot; Sufficient insurance provision for public liability and employer&rsquo;s liability (&pound;5m).<br />IMPORTANT INFORMATION:<br />TENDERS CAN ONLY BE CONSIDERED FROM CONTRACTORS WHO PROVIDE A<br />COMPLETED CONTRACTOR APPRAISAL QUESTIONNAIRE AND WHO MEET /<br />EXCEED THE ABOVE CRITERIA<br />Please note that the contractors Social Value submission shall accrue no cost to the tender<br />figure.
