The supply of equipment for the Mechanical Automation & Maintenance Fitter (MAMF) Courses (CNC Lathe, Mechanical Drives Training System and Hydraulic Training Rig) for Waterford Training Centre

Tender description

Waterford and Wexford ETB invites responses (“Tenders”) to this Request for tenders (“RFT”) from economics operators (“Tenderers”) for participation in a specific contract for supply of the goods and services (together referred to in this RFT as “the goods” as described under Section 4.1 Requirements and Specification of the RFT). Delivery of services and equipment will be to the MAMF Section, Waterford and Wexford Education and Training Board, Waterford Training Centre, Waterford Business Park, Cork Road, Waterford. Waterford and Wexford Education and Training Board intend appointing a single supplier to supply equipment for the Mechanical Automation and Maintenance Fitter (MAMF) Phase 2 course including a CNC Controlled Flatbed Lathe Machine, Mechanical Drives Training System and Hydraulics Training Rig for the Waterford Training Centre. The tender is divided into 3 Lots. Tenderers may submit proposals for one or more lots and must be clear on which lots they are tendering for in their response. The minimum contract awarded will be one Lot. The quantities may also be varied depending on the funding available. Tenderers may tender for one or several lots. There may also be a requirement to purchase this equipment for other courses in the Waterford training centre or other centres. The equipment is intended for use in MAMF workshop/trainee environment in Waterford Training Centre and must be of construction, materials and finish suitable for this use. This is to include supply of comprehensive training manuals, after sales support and maintenance where required.
