Herefordshire and Worcestershire (H&W) Sustainability and Transformation Partnership (STP) and emerging H&W Integrated Care System (ICS) is procuring an Integrated Care and Wellbeing Record (ICWR) to support its planned improvements in health and care services to its population. Herefordshire and Worcestershire (H&W) Sustainability and Transformation Partnership (STP) and emerging H&W Integrated Care System (ICS) has identified the need for an integrated care and wellbeing record (ICWR) to support its planned improvements in health and care services to its population, through the H&W STP Long Term Plans and in the accompanying Digital Strategy, published in January 2020. An ICWR is now also a requirement of all NHS systems’ phase 3 response to the Covid-19 pandemic, along with being an essential element of the H&W ICS maturity/assessment framework. The scope of the service being procured is the provision of an ICWR for the counties of Herefordshire and Worcestershire. This is to supply a clinical viewer, interfaces and services to integrate data about the care required and provided to citizens as part of the promotion and support of their wellbeing, drawn from the clinical systems presently in use, to form a single, comprehensive, contemporaneous record for each citizen. NHS H&W Clinical Commissioning Group (H&W CCG) is leading this procurement exercise on behalf of all partner organisations within H&W STP. The purpose of this Voluntary Ex Ante-Transparency Notice is to advise the market of H&W CCG’s intent, in the interests of transparency, to work with InterSystems, an incumbent provider in the H&W STP footprint, to create a greater alignment within the H&W STP and with its neighbouring STPs. The contract shall be for a period of 5 years, and the new contract will commence on a date specified by H&W CCG following the conclusion of a 10-day standstill period further to the publication of this Notice.
