Science VFX Project

Tender description

BBC Studios is advertising an opportunity to provide visual effects for a new Science production which will involve 30 to 40 minutes of visual effects comprising approximately 70% creatures and 30% environments with a budget of £1.25m. In order to receive access to the Invitation to Tender you will need to submit a showreel to beth.ambrose@bbc.co.uk that demonstrates the following: - Production of photo-real creatures with fur, scales and feathers - Realistic landscapes including detailed foliage and creature interaction - Space environments and aerials of ancient earth from space - Environments showing extreme conditions such as tidal waves, fire storms etc. Please submit this showreel to beth.ambrose@bbc.co.uk as soon as possible from the opening of the opportunity – once we have validated your showreel you will be asked to accept an NDA and then you will be given access to the full tender information, so the sooner you send in your showreel the more time you will have to prepare your written tender response. The deadline for written responses is Tuesday 3rd November at 17:00
