Tender description

Proposals from Tenderers are being sought to supply and deliver sustainable (where possible) products, install and maintain Construction Studies, Wood Machining and Preparation Room and / or Engineering equipment and machinery in St. Mark’s Community School. It is intended to award a contract to a single service provider for each of the Lots, (Lot 1 and or Lot 2). Tenderers must be able to supply each item on the specification list as per the Lot tendered for as provided. An incomplete Lot will not be considered. Tenderers should note that the goods required pursuant to this competition are set out in two (2) Lots, Lot 1 Construction Studies and Wood Machining and Preparation Room requirements, Lot 2 Engineering requirements. St. Mark’s Community School will draw down goods from the preferred supplier(s) as suits their needs. However, it is essential that tenders for equipment for school use shall;  Comply fully with the specifications and be durable and safe for school use  Comply fully with Standards as detailed and shall comply fully with European Standards (EN), both established and developing, and that Certificates of successful independent testing to the relevant Standard(s) by a recognised body are available on request.  Be accompanied by documentation of enough detail for full evaluation  Include the completed and signed certificate of compliance  A clear attempt by the company to source environmentally friendly and sustainable equipment and/or products without sacrificing quality  Timber or part timber items to be procured from legal sources, evidence of such to be available upon request  Only brands with a very good reputation of spare part(s), saw and cutting blades availability should be proposed, that meet the specifications of the items listed and requirements of the tender, with Brexit being considered as a factor.  Be accompanied by documentation of enough detail for full evaluation
