Request for market information relating to Mobile Voice and Data Services

In advance of developing the new Framework the Office of Government Procurement (OGP) is conducting this market soundings exercise for the following purpose: • To evaluate how the market has developed since the establishment of the existing framework. This includes the evolution of how suppliers “bundle” their services and products. • To obtain information on changes in technology, most particularly the introduction of 5G services. • To seek feedback on the performance of the existing framework and observations and suggestions for content to be included in the new framework. • To seek information on the effective and consistent application of requirements in respect of mobile network coverage across the 26 counties of the Irish Republic. • To determine the scope and extent of the consideration by service providers and equipment manufacturers of social and environmental factors. • To ascertain any potential impact of significant societal changes such as Brexit and Covid-19 on the provision of equipment and services.
