NHS Halton CCG - Social Prescribing Link-Worker Service NHS Midlands and Lancashire Commissioning Support Unit (CSU) are working on behalf of NHS Halton CCG who wish to procure a Social Prescribing service for patients living in the CCG area. The Halton Social Prescribing Link-Worker Service aims to assist people in the Borough by referring them to local, non-clinical services in order to improve both their physical and mental health and wellbeing. The potential contract will be valued at approximately £310,000 per year; and the contract duration will be for 3 years with the potential to extend for a further 1 x 2-year period. NHS Halton CCG is currently looking for Expressions of Interest (EOIs) from providers who could be interested in delivering a Social Prescribing service to people in the CCG area in order to help inform their Commissioning intentions. In the event that the commissioners proceed to an Invitation to Tender stage all providers who expressed interest in the tender will be invited into the procurement process which will be conducted through MLCSU's e-sourcing portal https://mlcsu.bravosolution.co.uk. There will also be a further call for competition using the relevant advertising media. However, it is not a mandatory requirement for interested providers to submit a response to the Expression of Interest to be considered for any future opportunities.
