NHS Midlands and Lancashire Commissioning Support Unit (MLCSU) is procuring a Social Prescribing Link-Worker Service on behalf of NHS Halton Clinical Commissioning Group who is the contracting authority for this opportunity. The Halton social prescribing link-worker service aims to assist people in the Borough by referring them to local, non-clinical services in order to improve both their physical and mental health and wellbeing. The potential contract will be valued at approximately GBP 310 000 per year; and the contract duration will be for 3 years with the potential to extend for a further 1 x 2-year period. The CCG is looking to gain Expressions of Interest (EoIs) from providers who could be interested in delivering a social prescribing link-worker service to people in the CCG area. Any interested organisation needs to visit https://mlcsu.bravosolution.co.uk/ to complete a short questionnaire regarding delivery of the service in the CCG area. This information will inform and assist the CCG in forming its Commissioning Intentions for these services. The CCGs are only seeking expressions of interest from providers who are genuinely capable and attracted to this potential opportunity. Please only express an interest if you have the relevant authority to do so on behalf of your provider. The deadline for returning an expression of interest is 4 p.m. on Tuesday 3 November 2020. In the event that the commissioners proceed to an Invitation to Tender stage all providers who expressed interest in the tender will be invited into the procurement process which will be conducted through MLCSU’s eSourcing portal https://mlcsu.bravosolution.co.uk There will also be a further call for competition using the relevant advertising media. However, it is not a mandatory requirement for interested providers to submit a response to the Expression of Interest to be considered for any future opportunities.
