Tender description

Health Education England (HEE — the Commissioner) are commencing a tender for the provision of Indemnity cover for medical trainees across England. A maximum of four regional contracts will be awarded to a single provider. Should providers apply for more than four lots, and are successful in more than four lots, the four top scoring lots for that provider will be awarded. The next highest scoring provider for remaining lots, subject to minimum criteria, will be awarded to those providers. If more than one contract is awarded to a single provider, we reserve the right to negotiate costs and service provision across awarded lots to ensure economies of scale and value for money. The overall anticipated annual national budget for all seven regions is ranging between GBP 640 000 and GBP 1 250 000. Please see each regional specification for breakdowns of this value. The length of each contract is an initial 3 years from 1 February 2021 with the option to extend a further 2 years subject to annual review. The contract will have a breakout clause of 1 year.
