Tender description
Durham County Council’s Adult Learning and Skills Service (ALSS) are looking to add providers to the current panel of providers who can deliver learning and education opportunities for adults aged 19+ within County Durham. The provider panel is a flexible agreement where, at the sole discretion of the Council, it may re-open the panel to allow additional providers to be added to its membership. This provider panel offers no form of exclusivity and the Council is not guaranteeing any level of spend. The provider panel is divided into two lots which categorise service requirements: Lot 1: Community Learning; Lot 2: Accredited Learning. Please note on this re-opening of the provider panel, the Council is accepting submissions from ‘new’ providers wishing to gain membership to the provider panel for Lot 1 and/or Lot 2 and is also issuing call-offs for ‘new’ and existing providers with further competition for contracts for Lot 1 — Community Learning and Lot 2 — Accredited Learning. Lot 1: Community Learning which will require providers who are able to provide cost appropriate, innovative Community Learning programmes (both non-accredited and eligible accredited) to support outcomes for adults aged 19+. Please note that the Invitation to Tender documentation will be issued and available for free via the Council's eTendering system. Organisations can register electronically for the documents via the NEPO portal http://www.nepoportal.org Then access the suppliers' area, select Durham to review the current tender opportunities and access the tender reference DN421200. The council reserves the right to re-open the provider panel to allow any additional bidder(s) to apply to join the Provider panel at a future date as and when required at the Council’s sole discretion provided that they fully meet all the requirements of the Invitation to Tender and specification. Lot 2: Accredited Learning which will require providers who are able to deliver regulated funded qualifications listed for approval under the Adult Education Budget (AEB).
