Contract for the supply and installation of Firewalls

Tender description

The purpose of this tender competition is for the provision, delivery, installation, configuring, technical training, support and maintenance of an appropriate firewall solution to service the needs of the EPA, along with the professional services to plan, implement, support and maintain the proposed solution. This firewall solution will replace existing devices, which are; a pair of clustered firewall devices in Wexford, a pair of clustered firewall devices in Waterford, a pair of clustered firewall devices in Dublin, and two standalone firewall devices in Dublin and Limerick. The proposed solution must be designed as per specification below. The requirement is to replace the existing firewall devices, retaining the current configuration. Two different specifications of firewall device are required: 1. The devices required to replace the four cluster firewalls in Wexford and Waterford. 2. The devices required to replace the three firewalls in Dublin and the firewall in Limerick.
