Consultancy Services to provide Specialist Support – Global Health and HIV and AIDS

Tender description

In 2020 and 2021 there are a number of key developments taking place in the areas of Global Health including HIV and AIDS and Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights which will require enhanced policy support. These developments include Ireland assuming a seat on the Board of the Global Fund for Malaria, TB and AIDS in June 2021. A consultant will be engaged to provide an external professional service and expertise. It is envisaged that the consultant’s responsibilities will cover: • Information management and coordination of all Point 7 engagement with Global Fund Secretariat. Extensive liaison and logistical engagement with Point 7 constituency and Global Fund Secretariat in preparation for, and support during, board meetings and all other committee and other meetings; • Providing professional logistical and technical services to the Policy Unit in relation to policy work in thematic areas relevant to DFA; • Providing specific logistical and technical services as required for the Department’s engagement in Key Partner Countries; • Attending relevant fora; • Providing external expert analysis and briefings as required.
