This event has been developed and will be led by private sector companies with support from Greater Manchester Chamber and Wigan, Bolton and Bury Council's to help businesses in the region benefit from construction opportunities in the three authority areas. By working with the public sector, we want to help businesses in all three areas understand what opportunities are available and how the tendering process works. Each event will focus on the development and construction opportunities in the three areas and will feature presentations on specific projects. We are delighted to have Chris Backburn from Lancashire Bids speaking. Chris Blackburn is a Bid and Tender Specialist who works with SMEs across the North of England to win bids. Chris will discuss the available opportunities both in the area, but also those councils and regions border our area and their major projects. He will also explain Dynamic Purchasing Systems, which are an increasingly important route for Construction firms to secure work.
