The Provision of Funeral Services

Tender description

County Durham & Darlington NHS Foundation Trust require a supplier for the Provision of Funeral Services for deceased patients within County Durham & Darlington NHS Foundation Trust who do not have a next of kin to organise their funeral, this includes burials and cremations. The contract will also include the funerals following miscarriage and stillbirth and the transporting of bodies between hospital sites, Royal Victoria Hospital Newcastle or to / from the Centre for Life in Newcastle if required. Contract duration 12 months (with the option to extend for a further 4 x 12 month periods) Closing date for Expression of Interest 12:00 noon 18th January 2021.
