Hertfordshire County Council (the ‘Council’) went out to procurement for the provision of three database management systems for Hertfordshire Community Protection. The requirement was divided in to three lots: — Lot 1: Fire Protection, — Lot 2: Fire Prevention, — Lot 3: Trading Standards. Lots 1 and 2 only were awarded. Lot 3 was not awarded. The contract for Lots 1 and 2 was awarded for an initial term of 3 years with the option to extend for up to a further 2 years. This is an award notice and this opportunity is now closed. The prevention service within regulatory services, Community Protection (CP) are responsible for making Hertfordshire a safer place by reducing the possible risks and impacts of fire on the community. The fire prevention department required an IT solution to record, maintain and report the work of their teams’ activities. The contract for this Lot is awarded for an initial term of 3 years, with the option to extend the contract up to 2 further years.
