Tender description

Ten schools in the area around Luton are participating in a tender exercise for the provision of school meals catering services delivered within each school. The present catering service is provided by Luton Borough Council, who are disbanding the current service on 31 March 2021. There is no lead school in this invitation to tender, and schools will individually contract with the successful bidder based on a single response across all schools on price and quality. This means whilst the tender is being carried out jointly, each school will hold their own contract which they will manage separately and independently following award. The successful bidder will therefore be awarded up to 10 individual contracts following award.
