THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION AND NOT A TENDER PROCESS. Thank you for viewing our request for information for Managed Accounts. Buckinghamshire Council has just over 900 service users who currently use a managed account service and the Council is reviewing the way that we offer this service. Buckinghamshire Council is focused on offering individuals services that meet their needs, whilst ensuring they are supported to remain as independent as possible through access to their own budget to manage their health and social care needs. A Managed Account Service should cover covers all of the below tasks • Setting up a dedicated bank account in your name • Receiving all your direct payments and making sure they are correct • Paying your PA wages, your care agency fees and any other bills • Paying all amounts due to HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) • Keeping a record of all the income received and payments made • Providing you with a statement showing all transactions • Dealing with the Council’s audit and inspection checks If you would like to be contacted to discuss the Request For Information, please include your contact details within your response and a Commissioner will contact you.
