Tender description

In 2013 East London NHS FT set a mission to provide the highest quality mental health and community care in England, and embarked on an ambitious Quality Improvement (QI) Programme to transform the culture of the Trust to one of continuous improvement, delivered through participation of all staff and with service users, carers and families at the heart of our efforts to improve. In 2018, we revise this mission to improve the quality of life for all we serve. Over the coming 4 years, we will be looking to further extend our use of quality improvement to achieve the triple aim of improving population health outcomes, quality of care and value for the populations that we serve. We will also aim to integrate quality improvement deeper into the way that we operate, as part of a management system that incorporates planning, control, assurance and improvement. Whilst we have made an encouraging start at utilising quality improvement as our approach to removing waste and enhancing value, we would like to accelerate this further so that our approach to managing cost is integrated fully into our approach to system planning and improvement, utilising a single method. As part of two STP footprints, we wish to play a leadership role within the wider systems in which we operate. We will be looking to utilize quality improvement to improve outcomes, care and value for our local populations, in partnership with other organisations and assets in our local systems. Keywords: Quality Improvement, Partner, Continuous Improvement, Improve Population Health
