Castleford Primary Care HUB – Proposal for a revenue only scheme with NHS Estates and Technology Transformation Funding to support 100 % of the development costs for the production of an outline business case. There is a long history of discussions, reviews and proposals in respect of the GP Practice estate in Castleford, with the then PCT (NHS Wakefield District) commissioning the management consultancy, as far back as 2011 to produce a premises development strategy and affordability analysis for the area. Castleford HUB – Proposal for a revenue only scheme with NHS Estates and Technology Transformation Funding to support 100 % of the development costs for the production of an outline business case to provide specialist project management for general practice premises developments. The provider shall maintain a positive and strong relationship with NHS England, due to the complexity of the proposals (new builds) which is required for this project which involves demolishing the existing Castleford Health Centre and significantly increasing the space available for care services by re-building it on the adjacent (Council owned) car park, with the existing health centre land being used for a replacement car park.
