Tender description
DHLGH is the coordinating beneficiary for Ireland’s Nature Integrated Project (LIFE 18 IPE/IE/000002), ‘LIFE-IP PAF Wild Atlantic Nature’ and of the ‘LIFE-IP Waters of LIFE’ Integrated Project (LIFE18 IPE/IE/000003). NPWS of DHLGH also has extensive experience in leading or participating in a number of previous LIFE projects since 1992, including LIFE Atlantic Crex, LIFE Irish Raised Bogs, LIFE Kerry, and LIFE Aran NPWS was awarded funding in the 2019 LIFE Preparatory Project Call for a preparatory project entitled ‘LIFE post 2020 – Preparation of a Strategic Nature Project for Ireland’, LIFE Pre-SNaP Ireland (LIFE19 PRE IE 007). The objective of this preparatory project is to prepare a high quality two-stage SNaP proposal for Ireland, consisting of a concept note and, if successful at concept note stage, a full SNaP proposal, to be submitted under the 2021 LIFE Calls for Proposal. This RFT refers to the preparation of a concept note for the Irish SNaP. The successful tenderer will assist DHLGH with the development and writing of a concept note for a LIFE Strategic Nature Project (SNaP) for Ireland to be submitted under the 2021 Call for Proposals. The body of work to be completed at this stage will contribute substantially to the content of the full SNaP proposal. See RfT Document.
