The Development of a Traveller and Roma Engagement Process

Louth LEADER Partnership (LLP) though funding provided under the Social Inclusion and Community Activation Programme 2018-2022 (SICAP), seek suitably experienced and qualified tenderers to facilitate the pre-development work required to support the development of a County Louth Traveller and Roma Engagement Process. As part of LLP’s strategic action plan, which is aligned to the Louth Local and Economic Plan, and funded under SICAP, Louth LEADER Partnership is committed to supporting the development three key high-level objectives: • The establishment of an effective Traveller and Roma interagency group in County Louth with agreed terms of reference. • The development of a County Louth Traveller and Roma strategy, which will be in line with the Department of Justice’s national strategy, and other related national inclusion strategies. • The establishment of a self-determining, sustainably funded, local Traveller and Roma Community Development Organisation, who would have responsibility in developing a three-year action plan.
