NBC Repairs to Delapre Lodge Railings

Northampton Borough Council (The Authority) invites quotations for the provision of repairs to Delapre Lodge Railings. The Lodge benefits from a prominent location at the start of the tree lined drive leading up to Delapre Abbey, a Grade II* Listed building, which forms the heart of a complex of listed buildings and structures.. The railings, whilst modest, are of an approximate length of 29m and height of 1.2 m (including finial). They form part of the boundary of the garden to the Lodge and therefore also benefit from protection, the pedestrian gate and gate post and a panel of railings which were loose, are in safe storage and will need to be collected to enable repair and reinstatement.
