Media Monitoring Services for SEAI

Tender description

This tenderer is for the provision of Media Monitoring Services for SEAI. Tenderers must have the capability to accurately monitor the following channels: 1) PRINT • National Press: All daily, evening & weekend papers sold in Ireland (including Irish editions of UK titles) • Regional Press: All provincial, regional & local newspapers (including relevant, broad-reaching free-sheets) • Trade Media: All relevant trade/industry publications & magazines 2) BROADCAST Television (national) & radio (national, regional and local) including outside office hours 3) ONLINE SEAI may request at a future date the provision of online monitoring. Tenderers should indicate their capabilities, particularly: - Key national online news platforms - Specialist platforms covering energy or related content (e.g. Silicon Republic, RE News, Renewable Energy magazine, Engineers Ireland, the Journal, etc) The Services shall be provided on an uninterrupted basis, 365 days of the year except Christmas Day. Any online service provided must be compatible with the following web browsers: Internet Explorer 8, Mozilla Firefox 17, Google Chrome, and Safari. If SEAI experiences a browser or other compatibility issue with any online Service provided, the contractor shall work with the SEAI to identify the cause of the compatibility issue & shall help SEAI to resolve the issue as a matter of priority. The platform(s) used to deliver Services shall be compatible with a range of IT equipment & software to allow users to access material via PCs and Macs, & mobile devices including, but not limited to, tablets & smartphones. The contractor shall monitor media that are tailored to suit the SEAI’s needs. The contractor shall endeavour to continuously improve & implement developments to the Services, by identifying improvements & emerging good practice, to enable SEAI to maximise the effectiveness of their media monitoring.
