Tender description

The scope of services covered by this tender is for the operation and maintenance (O&M) of Gayton Closed Landfill leachate treatment plant (LTP) including the inlet pumping station, aeration tank, membrane bioreactor (MBR) units, and all associated civil, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation/control/automation equipment. To include emergency and planned provision of tankering and disposal services for sludge and/or leachate and also provision of suitable activated sludge to reseed a failed biological treatment process. The LTP and its discharge shall be operated, maintained, recorded and reported in compliance with the consent to discharge PRNNF12093. The contract will run for three (3) years with a further 12-month option to extend, taking the total contract up until 30 September 2024.
