South West Mayo Development Company (SWMDC) are seeking submissions for the role of Visitor Experience Skills Development Programme Networking Facilitator and Digital Enabler to facilitate and promote the delivery of the Visitor Experience Skills Development Programme (VESDP), a co-operation project between Mayo, Clare and West Cork (Zone 2, see Appendix 8) Local Action Groups. The contract will run for 16 months with an option to extend for a further 16 months subject to funding and contractor performance. The Networking Facilitator and Digital Enabler will act as facilitator between training provider(s), the Local Development Companies [LDCs], Local Action Groups [LAGs] and Fáilte Ireland [FI] in counties Mayo, Clare and West Cork (Zone 2, see Appendix 8). The VESDP offers bespoke and locally appropriate tourism networking and training supports. All training and skills development supports will come from a panel of trainers as procured. Delivery of this assignment will take place in LAG footprint of counties Mayo, Clare and West Cork (Zone 2, see Appendix 8). An interim committee has been set up for the purpose of this tender and South West Mayo Development Company (SWMDC) are the main point of contact.
