Leicestershire Children and Family Services (CFS) is looking to develop potential investment models for children’s residential care provision in Leicestershire. Through issuing this advert Leicestershire County Council is seeking feedback from the market to inform the development of potential joint investment models. Any organisation or group of organisations interested in participating in this market engagement exercise should express an interest through the Council’s eTendering website and submit a response outlining suggested models to meet the requirements. The response should be completed and returned to the Council, via the eTendering portal, by 12.00 21 October 2020. Following submission of responses the Council may seek to hold discussions with suitable organisations which are likely to involve a face to face meeting. As part of its Children’s Social Care Investment Plan Leicestershire Children and Family Services (CFS) is considering ways to support residential care providers to ensure more cost effective, high-quality local placements in return for good value placements for Leicestershire children. CFS is looking to explore potential opportunities to jointly invest in local provision with residential care providers. This will involve close working relationships with providers to ensure good quality, cost effective placements which will bring about the best outcomes for Leicestershire’ looked after children and young people, whilst supporting the market to develop. The response should be completed and returned to the Council, via the eTendering portal, by 12.00 21 October 2020.
