Tender description

The Windows Framework to Supply and Fit UPVC/Aluminium/Wood Windows RBKC is seeking to appoint up to two (2) suitably experienced, qualified and competent Contractors to its windows manufacturer and installation works framework. The successful bidders will support and collaborate with RBKC’s Repairs Maintenance and Voids Services Team in providing the Works across RBKC’s portfolio of ten thousand (10,000) properties. RBKC’s requirements for the Works are set out in the Specification Documents which have been uploaded to the Portal. The Works will be delivered across the Borough and there will be no restrictions on geographical locations. Each of the Contractors will be expected to work collaboratively with RBKC and help to achieve sustainable improvements in the way in which the Works are provided. It is anticipated that because of the way this industry is set up, subcontracting for certain types of windows may be required by bidders, which is acceptable to the RBKC. The estimated annual budget for the windows manufacturer and installation works framework is five hundred thousand pounds (£500,000). The estimated spend over the four-year period for each of the two successful bidders is therefore £1M. Please note that this figure is an estimate and may be subject to change
