Knowsley is the Liverpool City Region's Borough of Culture in 2022 and is working closely with a number of partners, including Shakespeare North Playhouse and Culture Liverpool, to plan for a ground breaking celebratory year. \r \r At the heart of Knowsley's year will be the opening of an iconic and unique cultural venue, the Shakespeare North Playhouse in Prescot. This facility is being designed around best principles of engagement and inclusion for all. \r \r The creative director and programming services will design and oversee delivery of the first year's programme for Shakespeare North Playhouse in 2022 and build invaluable foundations and partnerships for future years.
