Tender description

20-40 PLUMBING, HEATING AND MECHANICAL SERVICES (DAYWORKS) FRAMEWORK: The University of Wolverhampton (the ‘University’) wishes to enter into a contract (the “Contract”) with Contractors (each the ‘Contractor’) to provide repair, maintenance, modification or replacement of plumbing, heating and mechanical services to the University and its Entities. The University is seeking establishing a framework agreement via competitive Tenders from suitably qualified organisations in response to this Invitation to Tender (“ITT”) for the provision of the aforementioned services. In order to allow this contract to be used for potential European Union funded projects we are notifying all tenderers that some works might be subject to part funding by the European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme for England (2014-2020) or any other European Union Funded Programme. This requirement is split into three (3) Lots: • Lot 1 covers individual jobs <£25k in value. The Lot 1 Contract will be awarded to a single Contractor. • Lot 2 covers individual jobs £25k-£100k in value. The Lot 2 Contract will be awarded to a single Contractor. • Lot 3 covers individual jobs >£100k in value. Lot 3 will form a Framework Agreement comprised of three (3) Contractors. Each call-off for the works required under Lot 3 will be conducted via further-competition. Tenderers can apply for single Lot or multiple Lots. Where Tenderers would like to apply for multiple Lots please note that you can apply for Lot 1 & Lot 2 OR Lot 2 & Lot 3. Tenderers CANNOT apply for ALL three Lots or both Lot 1 & Lot 3. The term of the Contract(s)/Framework Agreement will be for a period of 3 years (with an option to extend for up to a further 12 months subject to satisfactory performance and agreement by both parties).
