Tender description

NHSGG&C have a requirement for the rental of pressure redistribution beds and mattresses to deal with up to grade 4 pressure damage and complex wounds. NHSGG&C has a requirement to provide patients with pressure redistribution bed and mattresses as part of their treatment. Therefore we are seeking to enter into a contract with a single supplier who can provide these products for both short and long term periods of hire. The following products are included, but not exhaustive: Bariatric bed frame with foam mattress (minimum patient weight capacity 250 kg); Bariatric mattress replacement system with turn assist functionality; Adult electric bed frames with foam mattress capable of low minimum height; Spinal bed with foam mattress must provide lateral rotation functionality; Alternating pressure mattress replacement system (high risk); Lateral rotational therapy mattress; Air fluidised therapy (bed replacement system); Paediatric continuous low pressure mattress replacement system.
